FAQ

The primary difference between a life coach and a therapist is that a life coach focuses on helping you achieve your goals, while a therapist focuses on helping you deal with mental health issues.

Life coaches are not licensed mental health professionals, but they can provide support and guidance as you work to achieve your goals, in the various areas outlined on this website.

I am here to help you arrive at your insights and discoveries after listening and understanding your specific situation. Without bias or judgment, I will work with you to set goals, develop a plan to achieve those goals, and support you throughout the process.

For the professional sessions (i.e. shlichus/Rabbinical support), I will also act as a consultant in giving suggestions on how to enhance your shlichus/Rabbinical work environment.

I work in 50 minute Zoom sessions at $100/session.

You also have the opportunity to pack a 5 pack session at $400 or a 10 pack session at $750.

You can also set up a 15 minute consultation before deciding if you would like to proceed with any sessions.

The nature of coaching and consulting truly depends on the coach/consultant and the coachee. We will end each session with specific action items which I am confident will bear the desired goals if you can follow through with those items. Should you feel that you haven’t seen any positive results after trying to implement those action items, I will refund up to 2 sessions.

Both. In order to achive the optimal success, I will be hearing both from the parent (or parents, depending on your comfort level and family situation) and child, and sometimes both of you during the same session.

My sessions are primarily done on Zoom. Should you feel that you would work optimally in person, please contact me so I can try to make that arrangement.

I have been counseling and coaching congregants and individuals since 2012. This includes singles, couples, Rabbis and youth. I have recently formalized my life coaching/consulting practice in a more extensive capacity.

I use a variety of different methodologies based on the nature of the support.

For professional support, I base my support both from my experiences and from many mentors that I have used over the years.

For my educational support, I use methods espoused by Rabbis Shais Taub, Shimon Russell, and parenting/teaching philosophies which include Love and Logic, RCD (Responsibility Centered Discipline), the Victor Frankl Transformational Life Coaching course, along with over 20 years of teaching and counseling youth.

For the dating and marriage and dating support, I use methods including The Attachment Theory, The Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy, Imago, the Victor Frankl Marriage & Intimacy Coaching course and a variety of Torah sources (along with many years of working with couples)
